The American robin is the first bird we’ve noticed on the Estate. They are everywhere! We have at least 5 couples nesting, but as they are very active it’s hard to say if they are not more.

Robins are migratory birds, it means they spend winter in another country and come back in spring. The American Robin is one of the first bird to come back at the end of winter.

They lay eggs in small nests made of branches. We found their nest in the barn, in the trees, under our deck, on the patio.
